Dr. Dimitri Papolos is the Associate Professor of Psychiatry and Co-Director of the Program in Behavioral Genetics at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/ Montefiore Medical Center, New York City. He is the Director of Research, Juvenile Bipolar Research Foundation and a recipient of the NIMH’s Physician/ Scientist Award. He is the author of The Bipolar Child, Overcoming Depression, and Genetic Studies in Affective Disorders. In addition to his private practice, he speaks nationally to physicians, health leaders, and the news media about depression and The Bipolar Child.
