Harrison Bloom, MD of the International Longevity Center-USA and the Brookdale Department of Geriatrics and Adult Development at Mount Sinai School of Medicine, spoke at the Health Care Leadership Forum recently. Americans are experiencing an unprecedented increase in longevity—right along with a rise in aging-related issues, and Bloom's discussion covered how to live better, not just longer, and how to best care for the ever-growing number of older adults.
